Also he had many other important positions which has announced by Japan canoe as following: The President of the JCF since 1970 The President of the ACC since 1985-2002 Honorary Member of the ICF since 2000 Honorary President of the ACC since 2002 Member of the House of Representatives (National Diet) since 1947 Chairman of the House of Representatives since 1990-1993 Emeritus member of the House of Representatives First Merit of Order Former Ministry of Foreign Affairs Economic, Trade & Industry Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Construction Secretary General of the Liberal Democratic Party Mr. Yoshio Sakurauchi, ACC former honorable president passed away on July.5th.2003 May his soul rest in peace
